With new stock arriving daily, there’s always something fresh on our shelves. From furniture and fashion to books and homewares, our friendly team works hard to make the store welcoming and full of hidden gems. Conveniently located right on Eccleshall’s High Street near the roundabout, it’s easy to pop in and browse at your leisure, knowing your visit makes a real difference.
Donations
Our Eccleshall shop relies on the generous donations of our local community. By giving your pre-loved items a new home, you’re helping to fund the free care we provide for patients and their loved ones.
With your help, our shops raise over £1.5 million a year towards our care.
What we can accept
We welcome a wide range of good-quality donations, including:
- Furniture such as sofas, armchairs, dining tables, wardrobes, and beds
- Homewares including ornaments, kitchenware, and decorative pieces
- Clothing, shoes, and accessories for all ages
- Books, DVDs, games, and toys
- Electrical items with a plug that are in working order

What we cannot accept
For ethical reasons and legal compliance, we do not sell the following items:
- Broken or damaged goods
- Electrical items that are faulty or without a plug
- Items that need gas
- Upholstered furniture without the correct fire safety labels
- Toys without a CE or UKCA mark

Furniture Collection Service
If you’d like to donate larger items, we offer a free furniture collection service to make things simple and convenient. Our team can pick up sofas, dining sets, wardrobes, beds, and other bulky household goods directly from your home at no cost. We’ll arrange a collection time that suits you and ensure all items meet our safety and resale standards before taking them away.
Smaller donations are always welcome too — you can bring clothing, books, homewares, and other items straight into any of our shops.
Every item we collect is sold to raise vital funds for Katharine House Hospice, helping us continue to provide free care and support to local patients and families.
Volunteer at Our Eccleshall Shop
Our Eccleshall shop wouldn’t be the same without our wonderful volunteers. From helping customers on the shop floor to sorting donations, pricing stock, or assisting at the till, there are roles to suit everyone.
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, gain confidence, learn new skills, and give something back to your local community — all while supporting the work of Katharine House Hospice.
