Light up a Life

This Christmas, your light will not only honour a precious memory – it will help us support other people, so they feel less alone.

Dedicate a light

Dedicate a light to someone special

This Christmas, remember someone special, celebrate their life and help keep their memory shining brightly.

Your donation in their memory will help provide expert hospice care and support for local families when they need it most.

Add your loved one’s name to our Virtual Tree and, if you wish, share a photo and a message about what they mean to you. You can share your dedication with friends and family, wherever they are. If you’d prefer to make your dedication over the phone, please call 01785 270808.

When you dedicate a light and make a donation, we’ll also send you a commemorative card bearing your loved one’s name. Please include your postal address and the name or names you’d like on the card.

Dedications received before Friday, 4 December will also appear in our Book of Lights, which you can view at our Light up a Life Service at St Mary’s Church on Saturday, 12 December at 5 pm.

My mum, Brenda, helped organise our very first Light up a Life event and continued to help run it for many years. She brought local families together to remember the people they loved, making the service a special part of Christmas for so many.

When I dedicate a light to Mum, I remember that although she is no longer with us, the difference she made to so many lives will never fade.

Light Up a Life Service 2026

Join us for our annual remembrance service at 5 pm on Saturday, 12 December, at St Mary’s Church, Stafford. Together, we’ll celebrate the lives of those we miss this Christmas.

It costs over £5 million a year to provide our vital care services and we couldn’t do this without your support.

Every donation helps more people spend Christmas together, at home or at our hospice.

Thank you. ❤️
