Sandra, Dennis’s wife, was cared for in the community and as an outpatient at our Motor Neurone Disease (MND) clinic for a year before being admitted as an inpatient in spring.
Dennis’ nature-based photos have been framed and mounted throughout our Therapy & Wellbeing Centre.

I like to think that these photographs are a fitting tribute to her.
“It was so kind of Dennis to donate these beautiful photographs,” said Cathy, our Outpatient Lead.
“The photos have brightened up our centre, just like Dennis and Maddie (Dennis’s faithful companion) brighten our day when they pop in.”
Cathy helped care for Sandra and maintains a close relationship with Dennis and, of course, Maddie.
“They always come as a pair!” she commented.
