As part of Dementia Action Week we are hosting a special Memory Café at our Therapy & Wellbeing Centre in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.

The event will be held on Wednesday, 21 May, and will run from 11 am until 4 pm.

Open to anyone who wants to find out more about dementia, the drop-in session will feature opportunities to talk with trusted experts and hands-on, fun activities.

We will also be joined by Healthwatch Staffordshire and Staffordshire Together for Carers.

Whether you are someone who has recently had a diagnosis, a carer or a family member, we can provide helpful advice, support and signposting.

Our friendly Outpatient Team will be on hand throughout the day

Dementia Action Week

This will take place from Monday, 19 May until Sunday, 25 May.

It is an annual campaign by Alzheimer’s Society to raise awareness and encourage action to improve the lives of people with dementia. It focuses on the importance of early diagnosis and educating everyone on common dementia symptoms.
