Deputy Chief Executive
I’ve been working in the hospice movement for nearly 20 years and find it extremely rewarding.
I’ve worked for Katharine House since 2002. I see my role as ‘helping to make the hospice the best it can be’ – this means I get involved in all kinds of things to develop our organisation whether that’s through our people, income generation, increasing access to services – in fact absolutely anything! I also have specific responsibility for fundraising and marketing.
Working for a Hospice helps you to remember to try to make the most of every day, and so when I’m not working I try to fit in as much fun as possible. I enjoy time with friends, pub walks, gardening, creating (sewing, knitting, crafting), Formula 1, going to concerts, good food, and spending as much time in the Lake District as possible.
