The in-patient unit at Katharine House Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit supporting adults with life-limiting illness.

We provide ongoing support with professional development, access to staff counselling services and free parking. We are also able to provide access to the NHS pension scheme if you are currently an existing member.
The Role
As a Nurse in our In Patient Unit you’ll work in a great team of dedicated staff with the time to care for patients as our ratio of staff to patients is two to eight.
You will work a rotational shift pattern, including nights, but we are willing to consider flexible agreements to suit the needs of the service.
Your opinion matters and we’ll listen to your views to help the department grow and improve.
Please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.

Skills and experience
- Current NMC registration
- Educated to at least degree level or equivalent
- A minimum of 6 months post registration experience is desirable
- Experience in providing Palliative or End of Life care gained through clinical practice
