Business Systems Analyst
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week (25 hours minimum)
Salary: circa £24,000 per annum, depending on experience (full-time)

Join us to use your experience to make a vital difference to the lives of local families every day. We help local adults with complex, progressive illnesses from diagnosis to the end of life, and we support those close to them.
We are seeking a highly computer-literate individual to help the charity to redesign and computerise a range of different business processes, making it easier to produce and use data.
Initially you will oversee the migration of business data and organisational reporting to a new platform. You will engage with managers and users to understand our processes; identify and make recommendations for improvements; programme third party software; test and roll out with users; oversee and improve regular reporting arrangements; and develop the business analysis resource.
You will need to be able to engage with a wide range of staff and volunteers. Map out existing processes and identify ways to use the third party software to improve the charity’s management and reporting of a variety of issues. An understanding of relational databases, experience of learning and using a wide variety of software, and the ability to automate reporting processes are essential – but training will be provided for the specific software we are to use. Knowledge of regulatory reporting would be an asset.
You will need strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and have knowledge of how to present clear, eye-catching and accurate data, graphs, charts. You will be organised, able to meet multiple deadlines. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
Working arrangements: some potential for home working, at least 3 days per week based in Stafford, with free parking.
