Our Trustees, who are also Directors of the Company, are all volunteers and act as a corporate entity through the Board of Trustees. The Board oversees all strategic, tactical, and governance aspects of the organisation’s operation and future direction. It delegates most of its functions to five committees, each with their own clearly defined terms of reference.
Our current Board possess a wealth of experience in the health and social care, and business sectors. An opportunity has arisen for a GP to join the Board of Trustees. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will play a significant role in the work of the Clinical Committee which reviews all aspects of the multidisciplinary provisions of health and social care within Katharine House and all elements of education and research carried out by the Hospice. This position is open to a practising or recently retired GP from the Stafford and surrounding area.
