Katharine House Hospice is looking for a well organised Social Media Apprentice to join the busy Marketing team. This is an exciting role that will see the successful applicant supporting the hospice’s vital free care services and income generating departments (Retail, Fundraising and Lottery).
Ideally you will have experience working in a busy marketing department or office environment. Excellent communications skills are a must as you will be working with patients and families as well as supporters and local businesses. You will have a structured, professional approach to achieving competing deadlines. You will have experience of social media, will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office and preferably design applications and video editing software.
The post holder will be required to support all areas of the organisation and will therefore need to be able to respond quickly in order to travel across all sites. Whilst it is not essential that the post holder is a car owner, it would be a distinct advantage to have access to an adequately insured vehicle. Mileage allowance will be paid.
Please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.
