Lymphoedema Clinic Admin Assistant

Hours:         18.75 hours per week, hours as below with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness

Monday:                  8.30am to 4.30pm

Tuesday:                 8.30am to 4.30pm

Wednesday:          8.30am to 12.15pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills to become part of our administration team at the clinic. You will provide administrative and clerical support to the Lymphoedema team to ensure the smooth running of the service. Duties will include the timely preparation and distribution of patient letters to GP’s and other healthcare professionals, receiving telephone calls and ensuring messages are passed on accurately and responded to in a timely manner and make, cancel and rearrange appointments with reminder calls to patients, training/support and supervision of volunteers.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, with a ‘can-do’ approach to their work and knowledge of Microsoft Office to include word, excel and outlook, with the confidence to learn how to use our bespoke patient database. Previous experience of working in an administrative role is essential.
