Hours: 7.5 hours per week, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation, but usually Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Counsellor to provide professional counselling support to clients of the Psychological Support Team.  You will support the Psychological Support Lead with triage and assessment of referrals, carry a small caseload and develop effective working relationships within the Hospice multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent counselling/therapeutic care to people who are affected by: life limiting conditions and illnesses; receiving palliative care; and end of life care. 

You will be a qualified and registered Counsellor and ideally you will have experience working in bereavement and loss and will have demonstrable skills in counselling. You will be a confident team player with excellent communications and interpersonal skills. 

A Diploma  in Counselling and enhanced  DBS Clearance are essential.
