Our team of seven nurse specialists are experts in palliative care with over 180 years’ experience between them.
With our nurses specialising in palliative care for many years, you can expect the very best expertise, knowledge, care and support.
Previously, our team worked in the community and as district nurses, oncology nurses, sisters and for leading hospices so they bring a wealth of experience.
Our palliative care nursing specialists are there for you – they can visit you at home, in the community, or they are here at the end of the phone.
With our Patient Pathway Team, our palliative care nurses take referrals and also man our seven-day palliative care Advice Line for health professionals and families.
To make things easier for you and your family, the team coordinate with our care staff and other palliative and healthcare services to help continuity of care.
They can help with advance care planning and ReSPECT forms as well as symptom management and psychological support. Most of our team are prescribers, meaning they can help provide a prescription in your home, helping you get medication and pain relief for your symptoms quickly.
