Open your garden. Help care grow
By opening your garden to friends, neighbours and visitors, you can help local people receive expert hospice care when they need it most.
Whether you have a small courtyard, a cottage garden or an entire village willing to get involved, we’d love to help you create an Open Garden event that’s right for you.
Last year, we supported more than 2,600 local people and their families. Every Open Garden helps ensure that care remains available for those who need it.
Register your event today and receive a free fundraising toolkit, promotional materials and support from our fundraising team.

Pay in your donations
with a huge thank you from us!
Whether you have a small patch or a larger plot, open your garden your way! Sell plants, swap seeds, serve refreshments, run a stall, invite family and friends to a relaxed garden gathering, or just have a donation tin.
You don’t need to be an expert. It’s about sharing what you’ve created, enjoying your garden with others, and making a difference for our hospice.
Every contribution helps us provide compassionate care for local people living with incurable illness and support for their families.
“Welcoming people into our garden is always such a lovely experience. It’s a great way to meet others, enjoy the outdoors and be part of something positive. Your garden doesn’t have to be perfect, people just enjoy being together and sharing the space.” Fiona Horwath, Supporter.
Your Open Garden could be:
- A traditional open garden
- A village garden trail
- A cream tea afternoon
- A plant sale
- A family garden party
- A wildlife garden tour

Help our care grow
Raise £10 or £1,000 – every penny makes a difference.

- £100 could pay for a session on our Wellbeing Programme to help a patient start to manage fatigue, breathlessness and anxiety.
