Who doesn’t love a gin and tonic!

With the dull dark days of January almost gone Katharine House and Stone Community Hub are looking to raise the mood and a glass in March with their joint Gin event!

A fantastic evening of Gin tasting is on offer at the beautiful Sandon Hall on Saturday 14 March 2020 from 7.30pm where a wide range of speciality gins from different distilleries will be available to try. Participants will enjoy a cheese sharing platter and receive a gin glass to take home!

The event also includes a talk by Gin expert David Hunter from the celebrated Nelson’s Distillery and Gin School.

Katharine House Hospice’s Events Fundraiser, Lisa Carson said:

“We are delighted to be working in collaboration with Stone Community Hub and really hope the people of Stafford will come along to support our charities and enjoy a gin or two! We also have a fantastic new venue this year at Sandon Hall which will definitely add a touch of elegance to the occasion. It promises to be a really great night with lots of different gins from local distilleries to try and take home!”

Tickets are just £20 from or by calling 01785 270808 and include a gin and tonic on arrival, a cheese sharing platter and a gin glass. All proceeds will be split equally between Katharine House Hospice and Stone Community Hub.

Gin at Sandon Hall is kindly sponsored for the second year by Intro Personnel.

Katharine House Hospice provides free care and support for adults and their families who are coping with progressive illness across mid-Staffordshire. It relies upon the kindness of the local community to help generate over 75% of the funds needed to run its range of vital services.
