On Sunday 11th December, over 300 families and friends, staff and volunteers gathered together to remember their loved ones as almost 2,500 lights were lit at our annual Light up a Life Ceremony.

The service, which opened with a welcome from Chairman of the hospice, Lady Judith Mitting, included readings and prayers from Christine Steward, Jackie Dew, Norma O'Neill and Reverend Penny Graysmith, as well as a beautiful selection of Christmas hymns and solo's from The Hospice Harmonies. Supporters were also able to view their loved ones name in the Book of Lights.

We would like to thank all of the volunteers and staff who helped to make the service such a special occasion.

It's not too late for you to dedicate a light in  memory of a loved one; please visit  or call 01785 270808.
