Before entering into the legal profession Jennifer was an Executive Secretary for British Printing and Communications Corporation in Oxford and then Secretary to the Director of Nursing Services at Stafford General Hospital.

Qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994 Jennifer took up a position with Alexander Harris Solicitors in Altrincham, specialising in clinical negligence, before moving to Hand Morgan & Owen in Stafford, where she is now an Associate and the firm’s Quality Manager. She specialises in risk management, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and professional indemnity insurance.

She began volunteering at Katharine House in 2009 as the Board of Trustee’s volunteer minute secretary, then joined the Board in 2013. Jennifer is a keen hockey player and a co-founder of the Phoenix Blues Ladies Hockey Club, where she is presently the Chairman and Welfare Officer. A former President of the Stafford & District Law Society and member of Stafford Rotary Club, she was also a governor of Brooklands Independent Preparatory School from 2002-2010 and is currently the Treasurer of Stafford Litter Heroes.
