Mr David Harding

Born in Cardiff 1942. Moved to Kent 1949. Remain passionately Welsh. Very keen on watching internationals especially when Wales win,

Very keen cyclist in younger days, mainly time trials. Played cricket, tennis and table tennis. Still play in the Staffordshire leagues at tennis and table tennis. Treasurer of Walton Tennis club.

Married to Glenda for 43 years, two boys.  One married this year and lives in New Zealand, no grandchildren yet. Love cats but currently bereft as previous mog of 16 years  has departed this world.

Worked in retail, spent 35 years in management with Marks and Spencer, working all over the UK and Europe in store management, head office and finance.

Past: Chairman of Doncaster Round Table, President Stafford 41 club, President Stafford Castle Rotary Club, Made a Paul Harris Fellow for service to the community.

Since retirement 15 years ago have been a Board Member of South Trafford College Manchester, Opportunities for People with Disabilities, Brooklands School Stafford and of course Katharine House.

Started a scheme for reading to children in Primary schools 14 years ago. Now in three schools and still going strong with the help of 25 volunteers.

Spend quite a bit of time enjoying life in my house amongst the vineyards of the Lot Valley in France.

 Any spare time spent trying to get on top of a very large garden.
