Salary: £26,594 to £30,467 per annum, pro rata relevant qualifications & experience required
Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week, with short and extended shifts on an internal rotation of duty basis

This is an exciting time to join our dedicated care team as we
strive to support more patients and families across Mid-Staffordshire.
There is now an opportunity to join our dynamic team. We have an opening for Registered Nurses within our 10 bedded In Patient Unit. If you are a motivated, enthusiastic nurse with excellent standards of patient care and outstanding communication skills this may be the role you are looking for.
The post holder will be expected to exercise a high level of professional autonomy and make critical judgements using their knowledge and skills in order to provide a high standard of holistic patient care, developing and practising with the hospice’s clinical policies and standard operating procedures.
The post holder will demonstrate excellent communication and team-working skills and be able to demonstrate confident decision making whilst maintaining and developing service quality by supporting a culture of continuous improvement. You must have current registration with the NMC, be educated to at least degree level with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience including experience of working in a palliative care setting.

Katharine House Hospice provides ongoing support with professional development, clinical supervision and access to staff counselling services. We are also able to provide access to the NHS pension scheme if you are currently an existing member. Please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.
