Providing free specialist palliative care through a range of services to the people of Mid Staffordshire since 1989, Katharine House Hospice exists to offer the best care so that people in our community, affected by progressive illnesses, can live life to the full. Primarily a voluntary organisation, we are supported by donations from the local community and the services of over 600 volunteers and 240 staff.
This is an exciting time to join our Lymphoedema Service as we continue to support more patients across Mid-Staffordshire.
We are looking for a Lymphoedema Practitioner to join our service. You will have experience of working in clinical care preferably with some knowledge of Lymphoedema. However, a willingness to learn and an interest in treating our patients is more important as full training can be offered to the right candidate.
The post holder will demonstrate excellent team-working skills and be able to demonstrate confident decision making whilst maintaining and developing service quality by supporting a culture of continuous improvement. You must have current registration with the NMC/HCPC, be educated to at least degree level or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience desirable.

Katharine House Hospice provides ongoing support with professional development, clinical supervision and access to staff counselling services. Uniform is provided along with free parking. We are also able to provide access to the NHS pension scheme if you are currently an existing member. Please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.
Whilst this service is likely to be worked predominantly between Monday to Friday, we are willing to consider requests for flexible working in line with the needs of the department
