Salary:       £42,000 to £45,000 per annum, relevant qualifications & experience required

 Hours:       37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to meet the needs of the service

 

We are looking to appoint an exceptional RN/RMN with extensive palliative care experience and leadership skills to join our team at Katharine House Hospice.

 

We provide specialist palliative care offering In Patient beds, Hospice at Home, community services, bereavement support and wellbeing services. Our current services include supporting care homes and HM prisons. As we move out of lockdown there is a strategic review of the care that we offer and for the right candidate this is an opportunity to shape the future of palliative and end of life care for our local communities.

This is a senior role and the successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring that professional standards are reflected in practice. You will provide strong clinical and professional leadership and support dedicated In patient and Community teams to provide a high standard of specialist palliative care to patients and their families. You will promote the fundamentals of nursing care by exceptionally leading, developing and supporting these teams.

Katharine House Hospice provides ongoing support with professional development, clinical supervision and access to staff counselling services. We are also able to provide access to the NHS pension scheme if you are currently an existing member. Please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.
