Salary: £17,885 to £19,770 per annum, relevant qualifications & experience required
Hours: 30 or 37.5 hours per week, on a rotation basis of early, late and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Alternatively, permanent night shifts are available but some flexibility may be required.

Providing free specialist palliative care through a range of services to the people of Mid Staffordshire since 1989, Katharine House Hospice exists to offer the best care so that people in our community, affected by progressive illnesses, can live life to the full. Primarily a voluntary organisation, we are held in high esteem by patients and those close to them and are passionately supported by the local community and the services of over 600 volunteers and 260 staff.
The Hospice at Home team is part of our community services. We provide a rapid response service and our aim is to bring a choice to people – enabling them to be cared for in their own home and providing vital support to their carers and families.
We focus on delivering high quality care and can give the time needed to provide the best experience for our patients and their families.
A minimum of two years’ experience in a care setting and a level 2 NVQ in Care (or equivalent) is essential
Due to the nature of the role you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle with appropriate insurance. Also, please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role

Katharine House Hospice provides ongoing support with professional development, clinical supervision and access to staff counselling services. Mileage is also paid. We are also able to provide access to the NHS pension scheme if you are currently an existing member.
