Spiritual Care

We know and understand that illness can lead people to think about big questions, or to question the beliefs that people have built their lives on.

Spirituality, whether religious or not, is a way that people find meaning, hope, comfort and inner peace in life and is deeply connected to who they are and what life is about.

Our spiritual support team will talk, listen and support you in any spiritual needs that you have, regardless of any beliefs that you may or may not have.

The hospice offers a sanctuary for thought and reflection.

Social Work

Our social workers will support you and your family in a range of ways. From supporting your discharge from the hospice (including funding and care providers) to facilitating your preferred place of care. We will assist you in identifying any social needs you and your family may have. We will also offer practical knowledge and advice about benefits, community resources and support services that are available to you.
