Join us in celebrating 25 years of our Day Therapies Service by completing 25 miles in 25 days in a way that suits you during the next couple of months. Whether you are a novice runner, or a more seasoned stepper, you can complete 25 miles in 25 days in any way that challenges you – as long as you cover the distance you could run, jog, stroll – it’s up to you.
All you need to do is sign up for free using our online form! You’ll need to ask friends and family to sponsor you for taking on the challenge, we ask that you raise a minimum of £25 for Katharine House Hospice. We’ll send you some hints and tips on how to get your fundraising underway and when September comes around it’s up to you to hit the streets and get pacing!
You can track your daily steps by using your Smartphone. Many iPhone’s and Android’s will have a health app already installed, or you can download many of the free walking/fitness apps available.
You buy a pedometers or wearable activity trackers from many retailers both online and on the high street.
Have a look online you may be able to pick one up fairly cheaply, think of it as an investment in your new healthy
Once you sign up we’ll send you a link to create an Everydayhero online fundraising page, where you can track your fundraising and your miles in one place. You can connect your Everyday hero page to your fitness app or tracker, or manually add your miles to your page, so your donors can see how you are getting on.
Everyday Hero works in the same way as other online giving pages, the money you raise will come straight to us, and you can keep track of your mileage too!
