£4,000 Lottery Winners Drawn by Hospice Patient
The winners of the £4,000 Katharine Hospice Hot Spot draw were drawn at
the Hospice on Friday 22nd July by a patient from the Hospice's Day Care Unit.
Mrs Dilys Spilsbury a patient at the Hospice Day Care Unit very kindly volunteered to draw the 3 winners from the Hospice Hotspot globe which contained over 24,000 tickets purchased by Hospice supporters in the lead up to the big draw.

The lucky winners are:

1st prize of £4000 Peter Mills from Stafford
2nd prize of a week for 6 in the Cotswolds
Jean Horton from Cannock
3rd prize of a set of patio furniture (donated by B&Q Stafford)
Monica Barker from Stafford

Hospice Lottery manager Colin Martindale said: “we were absolutely delighted that all our winners were local people – it is due to local people and their support of Katharine House that we can continue to provide vital free care. We were especially honoured that Dilys, a patient at the Hospice very kindly volunteered to help us by drawing the winners from 24,000 tickets in our Hot Spot globe”

Stan Robinson Stafford ltd has again this year very kindly sponsored the tickets, protecting vital funds for the Hospice.

Lottery Manager Colin Martindale said “We would like to thank everyone that purchased tickets for our Hot Spot Draw, we look forward to presenting prizes shortly to our winners at the Hospice – everyone that purchased a ticket is a winner in our eyes as their support is vital. The Katharine House Hospice lottery is open for local supporters who would like the chance to join 150 weekly winners with a top prize of £2000. Both our 1st and 3rd prize winners for the Hot Spot draw are weekly lottery players.”
