Cycling Challenge 2012

The 2012 Sponsored Cycling Challenge will take place on Sunday 6th May and registrations are now open.......

To set up an online fundraising page go to http://virginmoneygiving.com. If you like using the classic paper sponsors forms, email us on the address above. You will also receive these in your pack when you register.

KIDS GO FREE ON THIS EVENT
There are three routes to choose from designed to meet the needs of cyclists of all ages and abilities.

MINI: Distance: 10 miles
Description: This route utilises Stafford’s off road cycle tracks, is mainly flat, almost totally off road and suitable for all the family.

MIDI: Distance: 30 miles NEW FOR 2012

Description: This route starts off on the cycle tracks then heads north then west through Ranton, Eccleshall, and Elford heath before returning to Stafford via Gnosall, Church Eaton and Derrington.

An all road route will be made available for road bikes.

MAXI: Distance: 60 miles

Description: This route also starts out on the cycle track then heads north then west to the Shropshire borders heading through Ranton, Eccleshall, and Doley before returning to Stafford via Adbaston, Norbury and Church Eaton. An all road route will be available for road bikes.

By registering for the Cycling Challenge and raising sponsorship you are helping the hospice to care for its patients and their families. It costs £2.5 million annually to keep the hospice going so every penny
really does count. To take up the challenge you can call the Fundraising Team on 01785 270808. Once your registration is received we will send your fundraising pack.

2011 saw a record 450 cyclists riding for the hospice.

Total raised so far from 2011 Cycling Challenge: £21,130

This includes £2,027 of Gift Aid that was claimed from sponsor forms that were filled out in full. Thank you.

it's never too late to hand in sponsor money. Don't worry if all your sponsors don't give you their pledge. hand in what you have, every penny counts. :)
