Wolverhampton City Marathon 

Will you run in aid of Katharine House Hospice?

The Wolverhampton City Marathon will take place on Sunday 6th September. Each year the event attracts thousands of runners, cyclists and disabled athletes who come to take part in one of the challenging activities on offer.

The events include:

• 15k Wheelchair event starting at 9.00am
• 15k Cycle Event starting at 9.05am
• Half Marathon Relay Challenge (5 team members each running approx 2.5 miles) starting at 9.10am
• Full Marathon (26.2 miles) and Half Marathon (13.1 miles) starting at 9.15am

All events start and finish from West Park, Wolverhampton. A cycle event including wheelchairs, half marathon, relay team event and children’s mini marathon are also being held along with the full marathon event on Sunday 6 September 2009 starting and finishing at West Park, Wolverhampton.

Please note that the closing date for postal entries is Saturday 29 August 2009. 2009 is the first time the event will use chip timing.
