Katharine House Hospice

What our patients and their families say about us:

"carers who feel alone should contact the Hospice's Carers Group"

Leave a gift in your will

Did you know that you can help secure the future of Katharine House Hospice by leaving a gift in your will?

As a local, independent charity we rely heavily on donations. A gift in your will would help us to continue our work and develop and extend the services we provide. It would be a gift to:

  • local adults with advanced, life-limiting conditions who need our care to be able to make the most of their time with their loved ones
  • carers who need support to help cope with the challenges they face
  • future generations in Mid-Staffordshire who will need Katharine House’s help.

Although half of people in the UK don’t have one, a will is very important. A will can:

  • Ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death
  • Give you peace of mind that your family and friends have been provided for
  • Indicate who is to be the guardian of your young children
  • Reduce the amount of inheritance tax that may have to be paid.

Isn’t it about time you got round to writing a will?

A gift in your will costs nothing in your lifetime but the promise of a legacy helps us to confidently plan for the future. Such a gift will help us to go on delivering vital support for local families who are facing the challenges of living with an advanced life-limiting condition.
