Many of you will have heard about the Gift Aid scheme but few people have taken advantage of this way of giving. If you pay tax, and make a Gift Aid declaration, then every time you make a donation to the Hospice the Inland Revenue will give the hospice the tax back!

This applies to all personal donations our supporters have made to us since Gift Aid was introduced and any donations they make in the future so the potential for us to raise funds is enormous.

If all our tax-paying supporters made a Gift Aid declaration this would enable us to raise thousands of pounds for the Hospice - just from the donations they have already given.

Gift Aid could even make you better off! If you pay the higher rate of income tax, currently 40%, then you can claim tax relief for yourself.

This is a very different way in which you can make a big difference to the lives of local people and all it takes is a few moments of your time. It couldn’t be simpler!

We work with www.justgiving.com so supporters can donate securely and easily online with a credit or debit card. www.justgiving.com will also take care of Gift Aid.
