Drop In provides informal support for patients coping with the challenges of an advanced life limiting condition without the need for referral from a health care professional.

The Drop In Day provides a free and confidential service, tailored to your individual needs so that you can access a range of services to improve your quality of life and overall wellbeing.

Patients coping with the challenges of any life-limiting condition including Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, End Stage Renal failure and Cancer can choose to access Drop in. You can access this service at any stage from diagnosis, during and after treatment and onwards.

The Drop In Day provides a friendly atmosphere where you can talk to experienced nurses who provide information and advice on issues related to your condition. When you drop in you can access:

  • Friendly hospitality in a comfortable and informal setting
  • Advice and support from qualified staff
  • Information
  • Simple Massage
  • Relaxation

Appointments can be made for you to access:

No appointment is needed to attend Drop In Day. You can just drop in anytime between 9.30am and 4pm and refer yourself on the day. Where appropriate you will be directed to the service(s) most beneficial to you.
