Education
Katharine House Hospice is committed to enhancing the knowledge and skills of all of it’s staff. Katharine House believes that education and development contributes towards the quality of care given to patients and their families. Many of the clinical Staff have or are working towards Diploma or degrees in Palliative Care or related topics. All staff have access to a wide selection of palliative care text, journals and other resources as well as general nursing and medical material. Access to the Internet enables staff to quickly access up to date evidence to enhance their clinical practice. Click here for more info on informal teaching sessions. |
